STANDARD 7. Teaching. The teacher makes evident a position of guide, moderator and trainer, in planning, instruction, and evaluation, favoring learning and the accompaniment of each one of his students through the educational and pedagogical own models. The teacher uses systematic mechanisms and strategies for the reflection about his practice, in order to make pertinent adjustments.
Our school´s scores in this standard are:
Concept A: (4) Most of the teachers, from their planning and in congruence with the educational and pedagogical model, encourage that most students are protagonists of their learning, planning activities that favor the learning of each one, acting like guides, moderators and trainers, promoting the collaboration and the culture of thought.
Concept B: (3) Many teachers use instruments and generate evidence in a systematic way that serve for self-evaluation, peer evaluation and teacher evaluation, in order to know the level of performance of its students and to help them make improvement proposals and act consequently.
Teachers work according to our pedagogical model and the practice of challenge and active based Learning. They use different strategies in order to guide students through their learning, the development of research skills in the doctrinal field, and the development of virtues and through collaborative work.
