Leaders implement staff supervision and evaluation processes to improve professional practice and organizational effectiveness.
Our school´s scores in this standard are:
Concept A: (2) The institution has an evaluation process for staff members that includes general criteria for performance and provides limited results for improving professional practice.
Concept B: (1) The evaluation process is implemented without consistency and provides little or no feedback.
The school supervision and evaluation process are being written and will have clear explanations for the entire process. Each position description will include specific criteria for effective performance. The process will be systematically implemented (teachers will be formally evaluated twice a year, and the school staff once a year).
The process will be implemented with fidelity by supervisors, who are knowledgeable and skilled evaluators. The process includes regular (weekly or biweekly) briefings for feedback and monitoring.
Our evaluation process in the past years was focused only on teachers and directive team members, IMC project will come to extend and improve our evaluations to all staff members.
